What to watch in ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’

In a year that was defined by excitement and promise, the “Star Wars” sequel has become one of the most anticipated movies of the year.

And it’s already earned a pretty big payday.

Disney/Lucasfilm earned $2.2 billion at the worldwide box office, making it the highest-grossing movie of 2017.

And the final tally is expected to rise to $3 billion.

Here are 10 things you need to know about the next chapter of the saga.

1.

A lot of money was spent on reshoots for the “Avengers” sequels.

The first “Agers” came out in 2015, with a whopping $842 million in ticket sales.

The sequel made $1.8 billion in its first five days, and “The Last Jedi” will have an even bigger opening.

The reshoots are expected to begin later this year.

The “Ageras” cost $20 million per film to produce, and Disney is reportedly looking to get the rest of the film out on a $100 million budget.

This will help pay for reshoots that will bring more people into theaters and allow the studio to make more films in the future.

2.

It’s expected to take up to five days to complete the sequel.

This is expected because of the sheer amount of money that Disney is investing in the films.

The studio is spending $500 million on the sequel, which will be shot in 2.35 days.

That is almost three times as long as “Agencia,” which took nearly six months to complete.

The new film will be about four times the size of “Ages Past,” and will be set in a galaxy far, far away.

It will also have a big cast.

“The First Avenger” star Tom Hiddleston will reprise his role as Tony Stark/Iron Man in the sequel with Chadwick Boseman, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Daniel Bruhl, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Mark Ruffalo.

3.

The movie is still in development.

“Ariel” star Daniel Kaluuya, who plays Luke Skywalker, is also reprising his role in the next “Ascension” film.

He’ll play the younger version of Darth Vader, a character who is also known as “the Dark Side.”

4.

“Star” actor Dave Bautista is a big fan of the new trilogy.

He will play a Jedi Knight who has been fighting to restore peace and order in the galaxy.

He is also in talks to play Darth Vader’s father, Mace Windu, a role that has been offered to Benedict Cumberbidge and Michelle Yeoh.

5.

“This Is Us” star Sam Heughan has been tapped to play Obi-Wan Kenobi in “The Force Awakens.”

He will portray the character of Anakin Skywalker.

6.

“Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” director Gareth Edwards is producing “The End of the Jedi.”

It is expected that the movie will be released in 2019.

It is being directed by Gareth Edwards, who previously directed the “Avatar” sequels and “Rogue Nation.”

7.

Disney and Lucasfilm will be partnering to develop a spin-off series.

There are rumors that the film will center around a group of Jedi called the “Rebels,” who were forced to escape the planet of Coruscant to save their friend Han Solo.

This would give the “Force Awakens” series its own spin-on title.

8.

There’s a sequel to “The Avengers.”

It’s not clear if the sequel will be titled “Rogue’s End,” or “Rebirth,” as there’s been no news about the title yet.

9.

There is a sequel planned for “Star Trek Beyond.”

This time, the characters from “Star Tours” will be returning to the movie.

“There’s a new trilogy in the works,” producer Simon Kinberg said in a statement.

“As a result, we’re bringing new Star Trek to life, and we’re also bringing a new version of the franchise to life.

We have been working on this for a very long time, and it’s only fitting that the story would come to fruition as a whole.”

10.

There will be more “StarWars” movies.

There have been a number of “Star wars” spin-offs, including a movie about a clone trooper named “Aurora.”

This one is called “Rogue Squadron,” and it stars a clone named Finn.

The films have a lot of fans, and they have earned a lot.
