Fanless cryptocurrency fans are now free to buy and sell Bitcoin.
The announcement comes after the cryptocurrency reached a record high of $12,000 in early trading on Monday, surpassing the previous record high set by Ethereum earlier this month.
Bitcoin, a form of digital currency, has long been the most popular digital currency in the world and has risen from its low $6,800 price point in February to an all-time high of more than $30,000 on Monday.
The rise in value has led to a glut of demand for Bitcoins, and it has also led to concerns over its safety.
The latest surge has seen more than 3,000 Bitcoins purchased in the past 24 hours, according to CoinMarketCap.com, which has compiled data from CoinMarketVue.
The cryptocurrency also has surged by more than 15 percent since Friday, reaching a high of nearly $30 in late trading.
